Warm Days in February are confusing

A really nice day in February is VERY welcome, and also VERY confusing.  It was just over 50 degrees today, the sun was shining, and the mounds and mounds and mounds and mounds (you get the picture) of snow appeared to be ever so slowly lowering.  Due to all the snow and cold this past winter I still have candy cane decorations frozen in place in my window boxes, and red bows all over the dogwood tree in the front yard.  My poor kids didn't know what to do with themselves.  The snow was honestly too wet to play in, and it was just too difficult to get the bikes out of the shed.  So what did my children do?  They ran jacketless in circles around the minivan, surrounded by piles of snow and old Christmas decorations, and sang Jingle Bells.
