Sorry to any of you who have been waiting for some new material...I just haven't been in a "blogging" mood lately. I should be in bed right now, not sure why I'm up. Anyway, life is good. My kids keep getting sick but I'm starting to get used to it. I've kind of forgotten what life was like when I wasn't taking a rectal temperature or wiping green snot off someone's face. No more seizures for Kate though, which is the greatest blessing (and relief).
Brian is still Brian: funny, smart, serious and slightly bossy. I took the kids for a hamburger at McDonald's today and Brian was having an issue with the chopped up onions. I said, "Brian, you haven't even tried them. How do you know if you like them or not if you don't try them first?" Brian, responded, "well I DIDN'T and I DON'T!" Alrighty then! Also, the other day he wasn't feeling well and I felt bad for him. I said, "Brian you are my beautiful boy." Brian responded in a somewhat agitated tone, "I KNOOOW I'm beautiful, I'm just tired of being a sick little guy!"
Kate is potty training and doing great, except for going #2 on the kitchen floor the other day. Jeff was the first one "on the scene" and when he reached into the bag of recycling to find a box to scoop it up with, the box he pulled out was a fudge brownie mix. Pretty funny given the item he was picking up! Kate will be 3 on Saturday and I can't believe it!
Kelly is good, loud as ever, but such a pretty girl too. Kelly thinks she's three and gets quite upset when her 13 month old body won't let her talk, run, eat, play etc. the way she would like. Kelly stands at the kitchen cupboard right next to Kate waiting for HER treat when Kate goes successfully on the potty. Kelly will watch Kate go to the bathroom and then follow her into the kitchen, making sure to also get in on the candy heart reward....she doesn't miss a trick, that one!
Okay, guess that's all for now...there's more...but I HAVE to get to BED!!! Peace!

Karen, the onions are my favorite part of the McDonald's hamburger. Always have been...even when I was a kid!! Funny!
