The Roller Coaster that is Motherhood

Motherhood is like going on a roller coaster ride for the first time. Standing in line is like pregnancy. You're filled with excitement, or you're nervous, you might be afraid and/or feel like you might yak (heck, you just might!), and your feet and legs might start to ache. Giving birth is like going up the first hill - once that car moves there is NO turning back! Yell, curse, scream, "I don't want to do this", but once it's started, YOU'RE ON IT BABY! Then the REAL stuff happens! You go down, up, around, you may even go upside down. You get jostled and rattled, your stomach is in your throat (or in knots), you may cry. It slows down, it speeds up, it is so unfamiliar. There is thrill, there is panic, there is joy, there is fear, there is worry, there is love, (there may be more vomit), there may be dizziness or confusion, (you may pass-out), you may scream, you may put your arms up and yell "woohoo!" But after it's all done - the good, the bad and the ugly - you want to get back on and do it all over again.
